Is it me or is the room spinning?

Artichokes who?

Artie chokes when he eats too fast. Ah, still funny after all these years.

Here's Lily showing off her leaf-scraping skills.

And everybody was...

Kung Fu Fighting! One of Lily's friends had her 4th birthday party at a martial arts center today.

Amalia practiced holding the wooden boards.

Taking advantage of the powerless

Have you ever seen those pictures of cats dressed up in baby clothes? These aren't quite that bad. Still, I think Lily better take advantage of Amalia's immobility while she still can.

Snow angel

Ready.

Set.

Go.
(I'm pretty sure it wasn't as painful as she made it look.)

Ta da!

(Note: This work of art was demolished a few minutes later by Andy's snow shovel.)

2-hour work/school delays are the best!

Water babies

Amalia, about to outgrow her whale of a tub.

Lily, dressed for our Guster cruise. At the end of March. 3 1/2 weeks from now.

Teaching tolerance

Amalia is a fan of the dogs. Here she is testing Blue's capacity for tolerance.

Now that Amalia is on the verge of being mobile--not crawling exactly, but still able to go after what she wants (e.g., her big sister's train set)--Lily will have to learn tolerance, as well. (Sorry for the long-distance shot; we were eating dinner in the dining room when we noticed Amalia making her move.)
