Lily: Mommy, did you know that when worms die it's different than when people die?

Me: Really? How so?

Lily: Well, when worms die, they're still here. But when people die, they're not.

(This was after she told me, "Sometimes, when you play with worms too much, they die." A lesson we learned during our tree planting on Sunday.)
