Gate crashers

Our girls recently have become smitten with the twin boys next door. (Actually, while I think Amalia truly does love the boys, who are about 4 months her senior, Lily is really just after their impressive toy set-up.)

Of some concern, the affection verges on stalking, with both girls constantly on the lookout for any sign of Santiago and Bautista. I am informed of when the neighbors' car is and is not at home. When the car is indeed in the driveway, but the boys are nowhere to be seen, Amalia usually concludes, "Boys sleeping."

While the proximity to playmates is nice, when the relationship goes south, one of us is going to have to move.
