We had big plans to take in the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin today. But after playing
TourMobile in our Highlander for about an hour with nary a parking spot to be seen, we decided we'd gotten the gist of the blossoms (They're pretty. We get it.) and made our way to Theodore Roosevelt Island. The weather could not have been lovelier and our city girl got quite a dose of nature.
The view is better up here.

At one point, Lily said her skin was getting itchy though she hadn't stepped off the trail at all. Perhaps she's allergic to the outdoors.

Snake's alive!
Amalia missed out on all the island fun because she's enjoying (hopefully) her second day at her new daycare. Here's a picture of her bonding with Andy last night.
