Today was the PreK Father's Day program.
Andy scored a bunch of loot.
Our girl, Amalia.
Her PreK teacher, Ms. Ford-Barnum (who also taught Lily) said it's not just her, the whole school is going to miss Amalia when we move. That's Amalia's BFF, Zeina, on the end belting out one of the Father's Day songs.
Two peas in a pod.
Goofing around with Ava.
Playing a quick game of duck, duck, goose.
After the breakfast, Andy pulled double duty and chaperoned the 2nd grade class trip to Frederick Douglass' house.
Frederick getting a bit handsy.
Soon to be third graders.
Last night, Andy and I attended a Stanford alumni event at the Mexican Cultural Institute with Julian and Joaquin Castro, moderated by Pete Williams from NBC News. Also a Cardinal, Pete pointed out that he graduated from Stanford the year the Castro brothers were born.
The discussion was very informative. For example, we learned that the YouTube video of Julian's daughter at the DNC last year got more hits than his speech. These guys will be fun to watch.
