As I write this, Grandma Carol is getting on a plane to fly back home to California after pulling 10 days of grandma duty while Andy and I were in the Bay Area looking for a house. She single-handedly got the girls to school, violin lessons, swim lessons, play dates and birthday parties--and was my stand-in at the pre-K Mother's Day program. From all accounts, it sounds like the girls (and grandma) had a great week. So thank you, Grandma Carol! Thanks to you, we will have a house to go to when we arrive in San Jose this summer.
