Such sweet sorrow

We had Zeina over for a farewell sleepover last night.
Not only are we moving to CA, she's moving to Cameroon.
It also happened to be "Pre-K After Dark," so we headed back to the school for an end of year party. (In our princess dresses, of course.)
Lily hung out with Mahlon, whom she has also known since Pre-K.
Mahlon's sister, Lizzie, is in Amalia's Pre-K class. How time flies.
 Joe Cool.
The two chipmunks sharing a chair, and who knows what else.

Ms. Thompson led the kids in some sack races.
Ms. Ford-Barnum trumped her with balloons.

You want to know how much this girl is going to miss her Pre-K teachers? Check this out.
Me with Mahlon and Lizzie's mom (aka, Karen).
A pic from this morning to prove that the girls survived the sleepover. (Not that much sleeping went on. These two are worse than teenagers.)

We did have one mishap. At one point last evening, Amalia's finger got squished by our wagon. Trying to cheer up a crying Amalia, Zeina immediately grabbed our little guitar and starting singing a little ditty.
